Insight CRM

Fortis Insight is an internal digital product for Fortis, created to give the company a more structured and scalable way to work with operational information. I led the product design, defining the UX, interface structure, responsive behaviour, and reusable interaction patterns, while also using AI-assisted coding to translate design intent into working UI.

Ideation & Conceptual

Challenge

Internal business tools often grow around existing processes rather than the people using them, resulting in fragmented information, inconsistent interfaces, and workflows that require unnecessary effort. The challenge with Fortis Insight was to take complex internal requirements and turn them into a product that felt clear, efficient, and easy to navigate while still supporting the amount of information required by the business.

Production & Execution

Objective

Design and build a scalable internal product that could make everyday workflows faster, clearer, and more consistent. The project focused on: • simplifying complex information and workflows • establishing clear hierarchy and navigation • defining responsive behaviour across the product • creating reusable UI and interaction patterns • maintaining consistency as new functionality was introduced • using AI-assisted code development to move more directly from product • requirements and design decisions to working interfaces

Outcome & Impact

Results

Fortis Insight evolved into a structured internal product with a consistent UX foundation and reusable interface system that could scale alongside new business requirements. Beyond designing the experience in Figma, I used AI throughout development to build and iterate parts of the working interface, allowing me to operate across both product design and implementation rather than treating design and development as completely separate stages.
